High availability integration for the ASSS of Outaouais
In 2007, the Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de l’Outaouais (ASSS de l’Outaouais) chose Matricis when searching for a firm specialized in Microsoft BizTalk Server technology for the installation of their BizTalk Server 2006 R2.
Matricis’ team installed a high availability BizTalk infrastructure with server redundancy and an architecture insuring the operations continuity in case of unavailability of the main installations. Our senior information system architects and infrastructure advisors used this solution to easily implement the chosen interfaces between the Agency’s different systems.
Technologies we used :
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, SQL Server 2005, C#, .NET, Visual Studio/Team Foundation System 2005, Kerberos, XML, XSLT, VMWare ESX and the HL7 standard.
Developing interfaces for the ASSS of Outaouais
Since the servers’ installation, Matricis has kept in touch with its client, looking forward to the development/constantly developing of new BizTalk interfaces. Our tasks reach the Agence’s different systems and the region’s four Centre de Santé et des Services Sociaux (CSSS).
The interfaces we’ve developed with BizTalk Server makes the connection between laboratory systems (SoftLab), admission processes (MP+, Clinibase, MédiPatient), nephrology (NephroCare) and cancer analysis (Aria) systems, medical files (Purkinje|Dossier) and pharmacy data (SyPhaC) using swap of ADT type (Admission Départ/Transfert) HL7 files and ORU (Résultats de laboratoire). Thirty five interfaces are actually being produce in the Agence.
Matricis also defined and put in place the infrastructure needed for the interfaces to migrate to BizTalk Server 2010.
Technologies we used :
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010, SQL Server 2005, HL7, C#, .NET, Visual Studio/Team Foundation System 2005, Kerberos, XML, XSLT, VMWare ESX and the H7 standard.
